Staying at Burgerhof in Santa Maddalena in Casies was a true Alpine dream come true for me. The peaceful setting at the end of the village and the warm welcome from the hostess immediately made me feel at ease. Felix, the family's Saint Bernard, added an extra touch of coziness to our stay, and the working cow farm on the property provided a unique and authentic experience.The spacious room with a comfortable bed and the well-equipped kitchen made me feel right at home. The view from the balcony overlooking the mountains and grazing cows was simply breathtaking. The sauna was a delightful treat after a long day of hiking, and the availability of e-bikes for rent added an adventurous edge to our holiday. The free private parking onsite was a bonus, ensuring that our daily excursions were hassle-free. The pet-friendly accommodation meant that we could bring along our furry companion to enjoy the stunning alpine farm location with us.
